Sensory Ladder!
Oaks class had a great afternoon building a sensory ladder using natural materials we could find around our school grounds. We found bark chippings, pebbles, freshly cut grass, dry grass, daisies, sand, water, mud, twigs and dry leaves! They loved collecting the materials then laying them out along the ladder, the children enjoyed taking their socks and shoes off and walking along the sensory ladder. All the children talked about which materials were their favourite to tread on and which ones they did not like, we came up with loads of great vocabulary to describe each material!
