Poet Visit 2020
During February all the children at Tansley Primary, worked alongside 'The Poet From The Peaks', Andy Tooze. He inspired them with a range of his performance poetry and encouraged the children to listen and participate in group performances. Andy Tooze also took his time to work in all of the classes to write their own poems, with fabulous results. The children wrote poetry linked to the human body and also about animals. A range of the children from across year groups performed their wonderful work to the school at the end of the day.
