Christmas Decorations with Mrs Smith

Today I spent a lovely day in Elms class. It was wonderful to see how grown up the children are, they worked so hard and have really grown in independence! We discussed what Christmas means to us and why we celebrate Christmas time. The children wrote their own Nativity stories and illustrated them, adding lots of descriptive language in their sentences.

 

Elms class also made some salt dough Christmas tree decorations. What a busy day we've had!
