Writing
We will be using our class novel of Street Child as a stimulus to our writing over the next term.
Throughout we will focus on:
Diary writing
Writing in first, second and third person.
Writing in past, present and future tense
Describing character's feeling and actions ( both from the text and predicted)
Persuasive writing.
Summarising key events of the chapter/ text.
Formal language.
New vocabulary and its meaning.
Deepening our understanding of our topic through text.
