Tansley Primary is committed to offering nutritious and high quality meals. Our meals are cooked on the school premises and offer:-

- Traditional roast dinner once a week
- Home cooked dishes with quality ingredients
- Only 1 day per month when chips are served
- Chilled milk available everyday as part of the meal
subsidised by the EU to keep costs lower
- Lower fat/salt and sugar recipes and products
- Nutritional standards that exceed the Government      Nutritional Guidelines.

School lunches are currently £9 per week, payable weekly, half termly or termly in advance by cash or cheque (cheques payable to ‘Derbyshire County Council’) Payment in a named sealed envelope please.

Children are also welcome to bring their own packed lunch if preferred.
