From Egg to Chick Learning Experience!

During the Spring term in Oaks class the children had the most wonderful learning experience, watching some eggs hatch into chicks. We would like to thank Ms Alison Sutton (our Vice Chair School Governor) who very kindly set up the incubator and showed us how to care for our eggs, and then our three new chicks, two Silver Laced Wyandotte chicks and one very beautiful Barnevelder chick, Eggbert (named by the children)!

Ms Sutton also returned to us on Thursday 26th March to show us how much our chicks had grown and the children also got to hold the little chicks! We can't wait to see how big they grow over the Easter holidays as they are going to come and visit us again during the Summer term!
